I was going to do the Argentina / Brazil / Costa Rica / S. America thing too... I mean, I love wildlife (thanks to David Attenborough). I am intrigued by things that man cannot comprehend / haven't yet fully understood. So I was down for the idea that, no one man (or woman) has witnessed the Amazon in its entirety. Not only that but there are creatures and habitats that no-one knows about in and around the river and the rainforest. But its very expensive, you probably have equal (if not more jabs) and health insurance... Hmm.
Anyway. Maybe my point is that, if you are willing to shell out the money - the experience of S. America will be breathtaking and will stay with you forever. But Africa will be the same, but you will feel that you've done something to change someone, or many people's, life / lives.
I dunno.
Apologies for the rant. Probably didn't help... Either way, will be unbelievable.
